The health sector is a very competitive field. In a world, that is undergoing constant change & remodeling. Jalalabad Ragib-Rabeya Medical College has successfully maintained its competency. Our college which was established in 1995 is now a leading institute of medical sciences.
With a physical space of 8.22 acres for 750 beds capacity hospital completed with modern treatment facilities and two 10-storied buildings for the teaching section along with accommodation facilities for the students, indoor sports room, libraries, cafeteria, spacious ground, we are now a name that is recognized even beyond the Bangladeshi borders.
Our spacious lecture galleries, tutorial classes and laboratories definitely meet the international standards. We are a government recognized college with affiliation to Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), Registered with Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC). To complement our standards, we have been enlisted in the World Health Organization (WHO), International Medical Education Directory (IMED) which is a pre-requisite for Post Graduation Medical education training and service in the USA and Institute for International Medical Education (IIME).
The students in our college, are not simply trained to be doctors, they are trained to excel as doctors and global citizens. With advancement in technology, the world has now become global village. The competition is tougher now. Securing good marks and limiting oneself to knowledge of textbooks is not enough. Keeping this in mind, we encourage our students to participate in extracurricular activities whenever possible. Besides this, seminars & discussions are organized at regular intervals here.
