Department of Biochemistry is responsible for teaching the subject during first 18 monts of MBBS course. Biochemistry is the branch of science that expolre the chemical process within and related to living organisms. It is a laboratory based science that brings together biology and chemistry. It focous on what's happening inside our cells, studying components of protein, lipid and orgenelles and covers a range of scientific disciplines, including genetics, microbiology, pharmacology and physiology. It is a very exciting and facinating area of study.
